I tried to run one of the examples of MDL Projects delivered from MircoStation SDK. This MDL example is mdlbasic. The path of this project is C:\MDLProjects V8i (SELECTseries)\mdlbasic. Using MicroStation Developer Shell I typed,

cd C:\MDLProjects V8i (SELECTseries)\mdlbasic  after that i typed bmake -a mdlbasic.mke however I encountered error which is"Cannot open include file: 'cstdio': No such file or directory" BMAKE: call trace

It seems that search paths are not setup properly.

Did you install MicroStation SDK after installing Visual Studio?

Is your Visual Studio compatible with your MicroStation SDK?
