Such request has no sense. The line length is result from geometrical properties of the line: It's the distance between start and end point in the case of simple line or sum of distances between vertices if the element is linestring. As such, line length is not the source property of the line, is not stored anywhere and because it's calculated online, it's read-only information.

If you want to change the length of a particular line element, you have to change a position of one or more line vertices. The line length will change accordingly automatically.
