Thank you Jon and Don for your suggestions. The user can disable DWG/DXF Dialog by clicking the 'Do not display ...' check box, and as each DWG file is opened this message is not displayed. I reset this value when the MVBA code terminates.
The information message dialog is still being displayed as the MVBA code opens each DWG file.
This issue appears to be workspace related when a file with DWG extension is opened. The MS_WORKMODE is set to DGN in the workspace, however the information message is displayed stating the workspace is DWG mode.
Is there a Microstation configuration variable that forces the display of this message if a DWG file is opened in DGN workmode?
I have compared the _USTN_CAPABILITY_??? values and they are the same in both workspace files.
