I suppose that the reference scale is automatically set, if a annotation scale is set in the drawing. Are you sure you've tested with the same file+model, when manually attaching ? Otherwise a call to mdlRefFile_setParameters should solve your needs. See the example for mdlRefFile_beginAttachment
