Any programmer needs a text editor that includes file search capabilities: a Programmer's Text Editor.  Particularly when developing MDL, C or C++ it's useful — perhaps essential — to be able to search the numerous header files.

In this case, a search of the MDL header files would have led you quickly to the macro that #defines that constant.
